Hearts joined forever in love

Just Inspirational's photo - hearts and ribbon

Good day

I had a special request for a wedding card. It had to be tall, since the lady requested it made a bookmark from lace in the Italian tradition and she wants to put it in the card. Unfortunately I did not see the bookmark, but I had ivory & cream to play with. I played with different textured cardstock and digged out my pergamo set to try my hand on something different. The center heart is the product of my pergamo effort. The outer heart is a die from Nellie's multi frames. This time I really took out stash that I almost has forgotten. The mulberry paper has a small gold glitter in. The swirl is a Marianne's design die and the pearls are from my stash. I used a Sizzix alphabet die for the initials, then I went to the internet to get an Irish blessing for the inside.

Challenges I'm joining:
Sweet sketch Wednesday 2 with a twist make it monochrome
Creative Moments #37 - Swirls and pearls
Ruby's Rainbow challenge #73 - Texture (hope the different textured cardstock will qualify)

Fab 'n Funky at Glitter 'n Sparkle

Di's Digi Design Bingo = Digi, Die Cut, Flowers

Good day
We had such a nice weekend out in nature and try to catch some fish for charity. We did manage thought to get some good money for charity. I just love to mingle with the people on such weekends.

Since it is Sunday it is also time to start a new challenge at Glitter 'n Sparkle #73. This time it is a nice one called Fab 'n Funky.... we are looking for some fabulous funky projects. I got Dancer with Pointe shoes from Aurora Wings. Mitzi has the most beautiful detailed images that just grasp your breath. She is also offering a $10 gift voucher this week. I played with purple once again, since it is for a special friend whom I had in mind the first time I saw this image. My designer paper is from Crafter's Companion, which I received from a magazine once. The round diecut is from Sizzix and the border die form the bottom purple is from Spellbinder and I used a trumpet corner punch. I didn't want to add to much extras since the image and DP are already detailed. I just love the vibrant lime green with the purple.
I also just wanted to play with my favourite sketch challenge Sketch 'n Die under new owner Carmen. I wish her all the best.

 Aurora wing's Sisterhood image

Inky Impression's Sketch

 Aud Sentiment Bingo
Di's Digi Design's bingo

Good day

Hope everybody enjoy a delightful day.
It has been a long time since I played just for fun and not with a time limit in mind.. I was quite inspired by the entries at Aurora wings' February contest - What is your favourite flower? - on Facebood. There some amazing entries, so I tried too. I love all kinds of flowers in all kinds of colours, so unfortunately I cannot pick just one, though I added some roses on this project.  This is a freebie and is called Sisterhood. I wanted to give it a very fragile/delicate look, so I didn't coloured it to dark. Since it is for a friend whom loves purple, I opted for a monochrome card. All papers are from my stash. I used a Sizzix circle die and a Cuttlebug swiss dots on it for texture. I have found this beautiful ribbon with roses on and wanted to use it on another project, but in the end it didn't fit, so I just had to add it this time around. The big die and sentiment die is from Spellbinder. Sentiment is from Desert Diva. I used a glitter pen on the jewelery as well as some rhinestones.

Challenges I was inspired by:
Aurora Wings' February Contest - What is your favourite flower?
The ABC challenge - F is for flowers
Crafts Galore Encore #2 - Add gems, bling

Good day

It is this months digi for the progressive challenge. I have to honest I did play with a lot of ideas but in the end got some inspiration from a colour challenge for Fuschia, Steel & Cream. Unfortunately, I am way to late to enter their challenge but the idea stuck. My hubby and I love the bit more unusual kind of stuff. I also decided to use some flock on the tail and ears, but had to improvise since I only have lilac flock. This morning I got the idea to mix some perfect pearl with the flock to get the steel colour. I have to admit, it didn't came out to bad. I used a heart Fiskar corner punch and used by Fiskar mini shape boss for the embossing on the hearts. A Spellbinder On the Edge heart shapes was used on the steel paper.

Button up with Glitter 'n Sparkle Challenge

Good day

It is Sunday and time for another challenge at Glitter 'n Sparkle Challenge. This time be creative with buttons. The DT made some very interesting button projects.
I was given Blue Jay from Fred she Said, one of the sponsors this week. This time I used the spring option, since soon it will be spring in the Northern Hemisphere and I think a lot of my blog friends are surely looking forward to spring. I've coloured my image with Aquarelles and added just some glitter on the blossoms. My DP is from DO Craft, with a dots in the small flowers to compliment the spring theme, and I used a line emboss template on the white. My sentiment was a Friday freebie from A Piece of Heart. I only had these almost transparent flower buttons, so I used some twine from WE R Memory Keepers in them.
