ABC for Christmas in July

Good day

On Monday at Catch the Bug we always have inspiration for Anything but a Card. Since it is our annual Christmas in July special we challenge you to make something different than a card. I bought some gift bags a while ago for this purpose. This time I used Puppy - Enough reindeer. I just love this image. I've coloured it with my Prisma pencils and recycled some Lindt Bunny Chocolate ribbon with bells. Paper and ribbon is from my stash and yes, I did glued my ribbon the wrong side down. Only saw it when the project was finished. Luckily it does not make such a big difference.

Challenges I'm joining:
Crazy 4 Challenges #544 - Sketch

Hope you'll join in the fun for our Christmas in July special. As usual there are some lovely prizes to win.

It is time.....

Good day

What a year it has been. Some of you have summer currently, but we have winter and it is one of the coldest winters we had for some years, further we are still in lockdown, so for now there is nothing to look forward to like vacation. My friend is celebrating her birthday this weekend and I know she had a lot of wonderful holiday plans. They would have experience a wonderful Europe summer holiday currently, but everything is cancelled. So when I saw Stella Calendar August with her funny sentiment I decided I'll try to cheer my friend on her birthday! My paper is from Prima Marketing Golden Coast and I added some embellishments from my stash. Since our summers are almost 9 months of the year it is probably my favourite time. Been outside is so much more fun than being in the house the whole day. Our houses are also build for summer, so winter time we feel as if we never get warm.

Challenges I'm joining:
Double D - Let's go to the beach
The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch 7 - 21 July
As You Like It challenge - summer or autumn (most definitely summer)

Hope you'll pop by Catch the Bug's Oldie but Goodie inspiration on this Thursday!
Then we also want to say our annual Christmas in July starts this WE at Catch the Bug!!

Hope you have a great day!
Hugs from Africa!

Tomboy for Creative Moments

Good day

This is a belated post for Creative Moments' challenge. Last night when I just started with the post, we had a power failure. Hopefully I can finish it this time. One of our lovely sponsors this round is My Besties and I had the privilege to play with TomBoy. Such a cute image.  I used papers from BoBunny's Mistletoe collection in the background and some plain cardstock. Have to admit, though I love white it is quite a challenge to colour an image in white. The frame die is from Marianne design and the sentiment is from Nellie's collectable.

Challenges I'm joining:
Sweet Sketch Challenge #187
The Outlawz Colour challenge 30 June - 13 July - Inspirational Photo
Tuesday Throwdown #461 - Polka Dots

ABC at Catch the Bug

Good day

On a Monday Catch the Bug always have some Anything but Card inspiration. Since it is my turn to give some inspiration I made this Gift Card Holder. I saw this idea once on Ursula's blog and it was quite a charming idea. This is Gus Work that I have used with some tool die cuts and some screw brads as well as Spellbinder frame die. With this world wide pandemic I do not think there is a lot of people that will be able to go on holiday this year for different reasons. They will probably be forced to stay home or to work.

Challenges I'm joining:
The Male Room #139 - Die cuts
613 Avenue #235 - July - Anything goes with twist of sentiment as focal point
Craft Rocket #72 - For the men/boys
The Paper Shelter #434 - Use a sentiment
Daring Cardmakers  - July element inspiration- Black & White, little car on bottom, texture.

Hope you'll find some inspiration from the lovely DT at Catch the Bug for something else that a card.
Hugs from Africa!
