A touch of christmas tree

Hallo Everyone

Everywhere you go in SA, scenes of spring is greeting you. Slowly, but surely the buds open and the splash of colour shows. Just love the feeling. My mother-in-law, though had to remind me, that christmas is also around the corner.
So, when I this scrapbookpaper from fabscrap, with this blurred christmas trees, I could not resist. It just fitted the request from the JUGS challenge #98, with colours Chocolate Chip, Deep Yellow, Ridinghood Red and Olive Green. I've used my fiskar border punch and added a gingham ribbon with a peel-off sentiment. I'm also entering Charizma Cards challenge #33 Negative space.

Hope you have a day full of colour.

Spring Bath

Good afternoon
I had this paper and image in my head, all week. So, finally I had some time for myself and this came out. I added a bit of orange/tangerine to bring a bit of brightness to the card. The image is from Anne's Digital Art, which I got from CDAC, and it is called Olla in Tub. I just love her, surely gives you a feeling of spring. The paper is from my stash and I added three rhinestones, the sentiment is in Afrikaans and says: Thank you. I've used the the sketch at Cupcake Craft centre faberoony, who celebrates their third birthday with a lots of fun. This was the first blog I joined and from whom I get a lot inspiration. Happy Birthday, Faye and your team, and may there still be a lot of crafting inspiration for you all.

Thank you

Santé Papa!

Hallo

Today I played with this image, that I got online and I made this for my Father-in-Law, whom celebrate his birthday soon. I got this ribbon last week at a local store and when the ladies at Crafty Creations's new challenge #131 came out with their quest for a male card with a sketch, I just had to make this card. Charizma Cards Challenge #32 Team Gem's new challenge is distressing. I used violet, and royal blue pigment paint on the white and Terra Cotta on the purple. It almost emphazise the grapes on the ribbon and image. I used gold, for my sentiment stamp with some heat embossing. The papers is from my stash and I added the corner brads, also from my stash. I'll also join the girls at CCEE stampers CCEE1132 with their theme of glass.

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

White on white bingo

Close-up on the Victorian Fan and the paper used.

Hallo

On this sunny Wednesday morning. Hope you have some sun and joy in your day.

Just a quick share this morning. For me, one of the more difficult challenges is a single colour on itself and a single layer card. And, I belief for all crafters a challenge is something you have to try to succeed. Well I used the Victorian Fan Digi from Priscillastyles from CDAC. I've printed it on some textured glazed paper, to give you a real fan effect. I used some promakers for colour and some glitter as well. I had some vellum paper to make the centre border, on which I have put on some glitter to give you a daisy effect. Then, I found some mother-of-pearl fan confetti the other day and finished off the card with some pearls. I used the sketch from the girls at Midnight Madness, but had to adjust it a bit, since my shape of card is a bit different.

So I'm entering the following challenges:

A Gem of a challenge #27: White on white

Charizma Cardz #31 Team Carly : Bingo - Flowers, pearls and glitter

Thank you and have a perfect day!

Dance.....

Good day Everyone

After a week of entertaining and enjoying family at home and celebrating birthdays, I can almost go back to normal. So, to wind down, I made this card last night. I could not resist joining the girls at CDAC progressive freebie challenge. They have some freebies to make some projects for Augustus. This young lady dancing, from Whoopsiedaisy Digistamps, is one of them. I've coloured her with aquarelles. Used some scrapbookpaper with a music background and finished it off with some music brads and ribbon. I used the sketch from Midnight Madness Challenge #115 and I'm entering Raise the Bar #69 Anything Goes.

Hope you have a splendid week.

Love life

Hallo

With this card I used some paint on the background, as per quest at 365 Cards day 152.

I used white paint on white cardstock, then I brushed some perfect pearl - forever green - over it. I used a Adam Pescott stamp on the side and I added this nature stickers, that I had now for ages. Finally added a brad and a dragonfly diecut. Gives you a bit nature effect with the paint texture.

Thank you

So cute!

Hallo

With the challenge for 3 layers over at 365 Cards day 151, I went through my paperstacks and found this cute image and paper from Papercraft essentials and could not resist. I added some ribbon and bling.

Thank you

Olga

You're a flower.

Good day
365 Cards day 149, today the challenge is 2/4 part solid colours and 2/4 part patterns. I have found this piece of scrap paper with the flowers and bubbles in fading colour from blue to green, with some lilac. So I used a solid lilac and solid green, though embossed, as the solid colours.

Thank you
Olga

Bugs and Kisses

Hallo

This week 365 Cards has a daily challenge on backgrounds, so 365 Cards day 148 has the quest to stamp a sentiment on the whole card. I used a Pink Petticoat sentiment and image stamp for this card, also a fiskar corner punch with bugs.

Have a nice day.
