Creative Moments #135 Anything goes

Good day

This is a belated post, but I still want to give credentials to our sponsor from Paper Nest Dolls, whom is one of our sponsors this fortnight at Creative Moments. I used Hip Hop Sydney and I made it in these bright green and pink. This is a year where my eldest will celebrate his 16th birthday along with a lot of friends, so I am in preparation for some birthday parties to come. I used Cheerful Sketches sketch as inspiration.

Hope you will come and join us at Creative Moments, since you have another week to come and play on our anything goes theme!

Hugs from Africa!

Something new

Good day

Hope you had a fantastic weekend and that you are full of energy for the coming week. I made this card on Friday, but was in and out the whole weekend. Luckily I still have time to join a few challenges from which I took my inspiration from. I used a new die from Ultimate Crafts called Magnolia Lane Wreath. A bit different from my usual dies and It fascinated me with the 2 ways that I can use it. In the beginning I started of with the top row of the Tic Tac Toe board, but ended up with the diagonal row from top left to right under, though it probable can fit the to row too. Papers are from my stash with a wood grain design.

Challenges I took my inspiration from is:
Deep Ocean #172 - Something new
Craftaholics R Us #2 - Patterned paper
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Frame it
Cute Card Thursday #512 - Something new
The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch challenge 10 January
Tic Tac Toe #30 - Left top to right under

Thank you and hope you have a fantastic day!

New Beginnings with Creative Moment #134

The sponsor of my Digi Ant Hill is QKR Stampede and you can find it here.

Good Day

It is always fun and good when new challenges cross your path and I am very proud and excited to announce that I am now part of the very talented Creative Moments team! Diana contacted me during my summer holidays in December and I thought I'll give it a go. Hope you will all come and join in this week with our theme of "New Beginnings" Every day is a new beginning and needs celebration!
We have 3 sponsor this week: QKR Stampede, Sparkle 'n Sprinkle and Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.

Mine is a celebration with a sadness on one hand and excitement on the other hand. My hairdresser will move to Cape Town at the end of the month and I am really sad since she was my hairdresser for the longest time, 6 years. She will start a new life with new hubby in Cape Town and I am very glad for her and wish her well. From there my choice of image as well. It looks as if the ant is saying good bye. I try to create a window like image withe Tim Holtz paper sanded after I used Marianne Design brick emboss folder. The sentiment is from Cards und more.

Challenges I took my inspiration from:
Tuesday Morning Sketches  #435
Deep Ocean Challenge #172 - New Beginnings
The Outlawz Colour challenge 9 January

Thank you for your visit. Hope you'll pop in at Creative moments and see what everybody did for a new beginning!

Spring boot

Good day

I have to admit I was really inspired by a few people lately and the idea of flowers just stayed with me. I used a bugaboo image called springboot and it just fit with the papers from True Romance from Kaiser Craft and Paper Flowers from First edition. The embellishments are from my stash and the sentiment is from my scrapbook stickers, quite by coincidence for the colours to match.

Challenges I took my inspiration from:
Catch the Bug B-I-N-G-O - Twine, Pearl, Bugaboo image
Creative Knockouts #227 - Celebrations
Craftaholics R Us #1 - Celebrations
Cute Card Thursday #511 - Anything goes

Thank you and hope you have a fantastic day!
