With love

Hallo Everyone

Winter finally arrived in South Africa. Although it is never comparable with the winters in the Northern hemisphere. An all new week as well with some new challenges has arrived as well.

This is a small thank you card for my aunt that had send me some roses to plant. So I used the sketch of 365 Cards, although I've turn it a bit to fit my card and the girls at Cupcake Craft Challenge felt like a "zesty colour combo" this week with White, Yellow, Orange and Green, probably because it gives you the effect of summer. The background paper is from the lime rickey series from Basic Grey. All the others is left overs that I played with. The stamps is from Adam Pescott.

Hope you have a delightfull day!

Hat 'n shirt

Hallo again

I am currently busy with the preparations for my husband's birthday party. The theme is hat and shirt, so the girls a 365 Cards day 84 also have a challenge for hats. I've used double printed scrapbook paper and folded it, so that it looks like a shirt. Used some crystals as buttons and then I had to be a bit more creative for the hats, since I could not find anything local. I've used a clipart design and used my cutter to cut it and then I reconstructed it. It took a bit of time and I feel it does not look to shabby. Since the cutter was working I've cut the number as well.

Thank you

Olga

Happiness in Colour

Hallo

I received good news lately and I thought happiness comes in colour, so I decided to take on the challenge of the ladies at Just us Girls with a palet of rainbow colours and I used the sketch of 365 Cards. I decided on using the Iris fold method in my plain white, heart shape aperture card. I've used mulberry-, satin- and vellum paper. Then I used some punches to make the hands, feet, tags as well as the green paper lace.

Hope you received some good news too.

Birthday Take Off

Good Evening

This is an almost too late post, but I still needed to put my idea to paper and finally had time to do it. I played with the sketch of 365 Cards day 75. It is, once again for a boy's birthday and he likes aeroplanes and I found this gentleman and thought this would do. So often you see this scene for advertising purposes.
I've coloured the image with Promakers this time and the paper is from my stach and the sentiment banner I've done on computer and coloured with Promarkers.

Hope you have a warm evening.

Gingham and Roses

Hello

Today's inspiration come from the girls at Cupcake Craft Challenge .....Gingham and Roses.... and I thought the sketch 83 of Just us Girls will do. The paper is from Craftworkcards - Vintage Rose and DCWV - the all about girls stack - the ribbon is from my drawer and I've used a cuttlebug nestie and a Brenda Walton stamp for the sentiment. Again I have done some heat embossing and added the final touch with some paper roses.

Have a splendid day!

Invitation with a Bang

Good day

Finally the week arrived for my boy's birthday. He's been planning his birthday party now for several weeks, although there is no theme. That made it a bit difficult to make an invitation card, so I played with his favourites and the sketch of 365 Cards Day 70. The paper is from paper explosion "Man to boy - Jungle Camo" for my boy loves army and then his other favourite colour is orange. The border stamp is from DTM Loisirs Créatifs that I've coloured with Promarkers.

So here it goes....the start of a party!
Hope it will be a memorable one.

Flower wishes

Good Morning on this gloriuos sunny, special Mother's day Sunday. Hope everybody was spoiled.

I have played bit with 3 challenges on this card. Firstly I have tried  the 365 Cards day 66 quest to make your own paper - On the green I've done some heat emboss with a bit of darker green powder and then I've used my cuttlebug template to do some embossing on the pale blue. Secondly, for the my first time, I've joined the girls at Raise the Bar where they have asked for 3 flowers and 3 patterned papers, hopefully you can see all 3 flowers and finally I used my Penny Black stamp from the Hugs Series for my centre piece to join the Penny Black at Allsorts monthly challenge: Shape up - anything but square or rectangular.

Have a peaceful Sunday.

Red lorry for a birthday

Hallo Everyone

Just a quick post before the week-end.
I've used 365 Cards Day 64's challenge for this birthday card. This time I've made my own embellishments with my cuttlebug. A bit plain, but I find boys at a certain age a bit plain, they are not sure on what they want exactly. The circle paper is from the lime ricky series of basic grey. The sentiment is in Afrikaans and says "Enjoy your birthay".

Hope you have an enjoyable WE!

Creation of stars

Hallo

A quick post of my shakercard for today. This time I joined the ladies at Cupcake craft challenge, with their all new image and game: " I spy something beginning with a C" as well as the ladies at 365 Cards with their mythical creature theme for the day. The cardstock is plain to give emphasis to the image. I've used one of Marianne's design's Ragdoll fairies as base, which I've coloured with Aquarelles, but used some perfect pearl on the wings, to give it a bit of fragile look, also some fluff on the shoes. Further have I used a bit of glitter on the stars.

Have yourself a day full of stars.
