Elegant lady

Good day

This is a digi from Sheepski designs and is the freebie for this month's progressive challenge at The Outlawz. Well I had a few ideas for her, but somehow it ended up in this and I thought this will do for a wedding card or maybe for the bride's maid as thank you card. The paper I bought a while ago and is from the happy thoughts range from Theresa Collins. These are my favourite colours!

Challenges I took my inspiration from:
Crafting with an attitude #28 - Anything goes
Double D challenge - June is wedding month
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 #115
Aud Sentiment #182 Tic Tac Toe with sentiment - Die cut, Digi, Ribbon
The Outlawz June Progressive freebie

Thank you and have a fun weekend.

B & W with dash of red

Good day

This is almost a belated post, but with some new inspirations I'll share it with you. The digi is from Digistamp4Joy and it was May's digi on Facebook. Somehow I only discovered it 2 days before the end of May. But with the black and white challenge at Crafting when we can it just seems right to use it anyway.  The papers are from my stash. The oval is a die from Sizzix and the hearts are dies from Nellie's multi frames. The ribbon I used in a dress form.

Challenges I took inspiration from:
Tuesday Morning Sketches #405
Sunny Day crafting - June - Tic Tac Toe - Middle left to right
Just us Girls  #396 - Die cuts
Crafting When we can #145 - Black & White with splash of colour
Digistamp4Joy June - Anything goes

Thank you and have a blessed week!

Work

Good day

Another quick post for today. I need some male cards and I bought these Crea-lies dies in the beginning of the year. Scrolling through my digital images this one from Bugaboo called WorkGus caught my eye. With a few engineers in my circle of friend this will just do. I tried to stick with the black and white theme, though I used a little flesh. All papers are from my stash.

Challenges I'm joining:
Stella says Sketch #510
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Black & White
Penny's paper-crafty #331 - Anything goes
Creative moments #119 - Anything goes / Birthdays

Thank you and have a great day!

Ebony treasure cove

Good day

I have to say I do dream of lazy summer days on the beach, but currently we are in winter, though not that cold, but definitely not the kind of weather to be outside on the beach with swimwear on.

This is a image of Lacy Sunshine called Ebony treasure cove. It was a freebie and I really love Lacy Sunshine images. With all the summer themes I made time to play. The paper is from very first years when I started making cards. I used sandy border from couture creations. The sentiment I took from Desert Diva. The seashells are from my last vacation in December.

Playing along with all my favourite challenge:
Sweet Stampin - Use your old stuff
Sweet Sketch Wednesday2 #113
Come and get it - Nautical
Crazy 4 challenges C4C387 - Summer destinations
The Outlawz Tuesday Colour challenge with twist of nautical
Use your Stuff - Summer fun blog hop

Hope you have a lovely day!
Hugs from Africa!

Baby boy on it's way

Good day

Where did the time go!!! It has been exactly a month since I have last posted anything. We had a lot of public holidays and long weekends filled with hockey and rugby and I just didn't had time for anything else. Today I just decided to take some time of before I miss another deadline and before the little boy is born.
This is Chicken Run from Di's Digis and it is this month's progressive freebie at the Outlawz. With the lovely colour combo at the Outlawz Colour challenge the inspiration took over. The papers are from my stash and I used a Cuttlebug emboss folder for the diamonds(left bottom) and a Marianne's Design hearts emboss folder( my latest edition to my stash) The eyelets are from Fiskar and the sentiment is from confetti that my sister-in-law gave me as present when my eldest son was born, 15 years ago.

Challenges I took my inspiration from:
Crafty Cardmakers #188 - Add a sentiment
Tuesday Trowdown #343 - Texture
Ooh la la Creations#228 - Something starting with B (boy card)
The Outlawz Tuesday Colour Challenge 16 May
The Outlawz Monthly progressive challenge - May 2017.
Tuesday Morning Sketches #403

Thank you and have a great day!

"Hello Dolly"

Good day

Autumn is here in all its splendor. I have to admit that I am not fond of getting cold, but I can operate better in cooler conditions than scourging heat. Once again this is one of those projects that looked different in my head when I started than what it ended in. The designer paper is called Afri- Frans from Creative Talents. (Directly translated Afrikaans French) I bought this beautiful emboss folder this morning and could not resist playing with it. Digi is from Digistamp4Joy and is this month's progressive digi on their Facebook page. The rest came from my stash.

Challenges I'm joining:
Allsorts WK411 - Sketch
Crafting when we Can #142 - One for the girls
Digistamp4Joy - April - Inspired by a Song - Hello Dolly from Louis Armstrong
Come and Get it challenge - It's a girl thing
Digistamp4Joy FB progressive challenge - April
Use your Stuff #260 - Eyelets and brads
The Outlawz Tuesday Colour Challenge - Tic Tac Toe - Middle left to right

Thank you and have a great day!
