You rock!

Good day

I'm still on the roll to make some boy cards. This is a digi from Bugaboo and is called Rock Star Boy. The designer paper I used is a two-tone holographic paper  with my Virtuoso Music die from Memory Box and in the back ground I used black gauze paper from DCWV. I used silver wet embossing on the stars and added a Afrikaans sentiment before printing.

Spring thoughts

Good day

I had the opportunity to buy some new paper last Saturday. Always a BIG thing in a crafter's life. This is the 1st image from Digistamp4Joy's facebook progressive challenge and I thought the paper from First Edition's Paper Flower stack, would suite it well, since a friend of mine was in and out of the hospital lately and she could do with something more cheerful.

Challenges I'm joining:
Fan-Tastic Tuesday #128 = Spring is in the Air
Digi Choosday Wk 11 - Thinking of You
The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge
Digistamp4Joy March FB progressive challenge

Island style

Good day

This is Boozy Brian from Lacy Sunshine and he looks as if he is having some island fun. For a while I escaped to his island while making this card. Lacy Sunshine has a challenge of adding something wild on facebook. Since I stay in Africa, I don't see it as wild, rather normal. That is why I chose this image as a bit of wild. The DP is from my touch of foil from DCWV. The rest is from my stash. I used a Fiskar emboss plate for the left paper. Dies used: 2-die4 leaves & Spellbinder A2 Curved matting basics A and x-cut to round the corners.

Challenges I'm joining:
Tuesday Morning Sketches  #342
Penny's Paper Crafty #268 - Anything goes
The Sisterhod of Crafters - Use dies/punches

Turning 16

Good day

A young lady turned 16 and her grandmother asked me for a card. This is Hannah from Lacy Sunshine and it suited her perfect. Apparently she wants to go to Paris one day and I could not fit the paper to make the printed Eiffel tower visible, then I decided to use the die and stamp from Sizzix to add the Eiffel tower. Paper from True Romance from Kaiser Craft.
