Hallo
It is a cold, windy day and with it a Sunday, that is normally lazy. I used the time to get a bit crafty with less disturbances and out of the usual cards I came up with this small CD gift box.
I've used normal blue carton to make the box, where after I've used my Crafter's Companion to make the scallops on the side. I've done some heat embossing in gold. Then on top there is green Angel Wing's paper, the red border punch is from Fiskar and the black is done with my latest edition Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment in Afrikaans says: " Just a message" is one of my oldest stamps and I did it also with some heat embossing in gold. The ribbon is from my stash, flags I've printed and I finished it off with some beads in flower design, to give it an African feeling. I still have to work on my photography skills, since the yellow ribbon shows gold and the gold sentiment shows black.
The challenges I'm entering is:
JUGS 90 : make a Patriotic 3D project, with 4th of July coming up, luckily you can be patriotic with your own country, so I've played with the colours of the South African flag.
Sweet Stampin' Callenge Blog : Something old, something new - sentiment stamp as old and Martha Stewart punch as new
365 Cards day 116 : Use one technique, one tool, and one embellishment that you are just crazy about on your card - punching, heat embossing and beads for embellishment
Moxie Fab World : Beautiful Borders - 2 different border punches
Thank you for visiting and have a nice day!
