Sunshine delight for Creations in Pink

Good day

This is a bit of belated post since our new challenge at Creations in Pink has started yesterday on the 15th. We are still busy with some house renovations and my hubby is still working from home, so I do not have that much time for myself in my room. Enough moaning. Here is my creation for this month. We are sponsored by Polkadoodles, who is so kind to sponsor a $10 gift voucher. I used Sunshine delight which I coloured with my Prisma pencil and then I tried something new. I used my versamagic ink pads with a dry wipe and made my own background. I used my butterfly circle die from Spellbinder (though it is just bigger than my image circle) and used the butterfly pieces as embellishments with some rhinestones. Found some polkadot paper in the same colours as the ink to cut the flowers. Sentiment is also from a Spellbinder die.

Challenges I took inspiration from:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday #185
Use your Stuff #400 - It's a Girl thing
613 Avenue Create #234 - Create a blended background
Sweet Stampin - Die cuts and punches
Polkadoodles Wk24 - Anything goes
Digi Choosday Wk23 - Anything goes

Hope you'll find some lovely inspiration from the team at Creations in Pink to join us this month.
Hugs from Africa!

This is adorable. Love your background. At least he is able to do the renovations instead of having to hiring someone so that's the good thing...right? Just take over another spot is my idea, haha. I'm too sassy sorry.

I love your card Olga, I adore this sweet image and your wonderful pastel colours. I just adore the background you've created. I totally know what you mean about having hubby at home, you feel you should be doing something else rather than crafting. I know when my hubby was home I felt guilty crafting and felt I should have been doing something else, and during our lockdown, I didn't do much crafting at all. I must admit I did knit most nights, I was and still am knitting babies beanies for our newborn babies that are born in our maternity hospital. Last year I knitted 100 and this year I've nearly reached that same target. Then I'll finish off my cross-stitch. Great card and thanks so much for sharing it with us over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and good luck.
