French memories of spring

Good day

I saw some beautiful images of first signs of spring with crocuses in the snow. My memories of spring in Europe were poppies. I know, by the time the poppies bloom it is almost summer, but still, I used to love these delicate flowers. Were I stay now, we do not have poppies.

With this week's colour challenge at The Outlawz I was a bit in a flat spin. But when I decided to play with the red, black and green it all came together. The image is from Beccy's place. Papers are from The Serenade Collection from BoBunny. Dies used Spellbinder's A2 Locking Loops & A2 Curved Matting Basics A and 2Die4 Leaves 1.

Challenges I'm joining:
The Outlawz Tuesday Colour Challenge - red, black & green
TuesdayMorning sketches #292
The Paper Shelter #195 - Spring delight
Fan-Tastic Tuesday #77 - Square
Beccy's Place March Challenge
Sassy Studio Design #273 - Anything goes
Die Cutting Divas #207 - Welcome spring

Thank you and have a fantastic day!
Hugs from Africa!

What a fabulous card Olga, you have done a wonderful job with the image. I love the way you've coloured the flowers and then added a little dimensional paint to the centre. I also love the lattice die cut you placed behind the image panel and I think the patterned paper you added is perfect for the design. Well done!
Cheers,
Beccy
