Good day again!

This time I'm slipping in on a banana skin to join Digistamp 4 Joy's water challenge. I've wanted to do this all week, but just didn't had time to finish it. Then I saw there are another 3 hours left and I saw the colour scheme at The Outlawz and I took the risk. This is the little mermaid from Meljen's design. For the sand I've used distressed powder from Tim Holtz and I used some glitter on the bodice and crown of the mermaid. Used some rhinestones and ribbon from my stash with granite effect paper on the background.

Bee Happy

Good Afternoon

I've started working on this card on Friday afternoon, though I have only finished it this morning. So, I used Mojo Monday's sketch, but I'm a bit too late to enter their challenge. I was however inspired my Melissa over at Meljen's design challenge for pastels and I use this bee freebie and her sentiment. The designer papers is from two magazines namely Papercraft Essentials - the bee happy paper and the doodle paper on the background is from cardmaking & papercraft. I did some embossing on the other backpaper and used the distressing technique with some pale blue ink. The diecut is from Marianne's design, I added some beads with the buttons to brighten up the card. I have to admit that I prefer bold colours with pastels and that I find it sometimes to pale to play with only pastels, although the projects over at Meljen's are beautiful. Challenges I'm joining:

Good Morning
It is Monday! A new week ahead....but also this year is speeding out.
I've made this card on Friday, but was not around to post it before now. This is a digi and sentiment from Carmen. I've used some chalk for the distressing, coloured it with aquarrelles. The papers is form my stash as well as all the embellisments. The compass is a stamp from scrappy cat and I used a spellbinder diecut.

Non traditional christmas

Hallo

Today I've tried something different. Not so much the image, from daisy doodles, but more the colour scheme. Purple and orange. This morning I was scrabbling through my stash for papers for my son's birthday invitations and my I caught this purple backpaper with the christmas design. Then I remembered Use it Tuesday's challenge for purple, orange and black - all or any choice. The image is one of the digis from Crafters Digital Art Centre's 6th round progressive challenge, with theme of winter wonderland. A.F. Wells once said "Take Christ out of Christmas and December becomes the most dismal and drab time of the year." From there my choice of a star brad used with some lilac ribbon. Brazzille cardstock from my stash and I've used a spellbinder diecut and the digi was coloured with aquarelles.

Mountain Biker

Another hallo for today, hope you are well and relaxing before another week starts.
Lately I had a lot of boy cards to make and today another one to add to my collection. Though I've found the colour challenge for red, white and blue quite helpful with this card. In a sense it gives you a festive feeling and it suites a card for a boy. With this card I played a bit with texture and even added some fluff on my sentiment, and yes this card will go all the way to France as the sentiment says: "Happy Birthday"
