Birthday card for a 1 year old
Good day
This is just a quick post of a card that I made for a 1 year old. This is a lovely image of All Dressed Up called See Saw. With the delicate flowers on the image and the little girl with her wellies, it sure looks as if she is enjoying the first days of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. The paper is from my stash and is so subtle, so I stayed in the subtle shades with the colouring too. I added ribbon, twine and some rhinestones as finishing touch.

Baptism
Good day
This was a special request project from a grandmother for her grand child's baptism. I think this was a totally first for me too. So I browsed around and found some inspiration on the web and started to play with stuff. The sentiment was computer generated and I played with some different dies. With St Patrick's day yesterday this fresh green paper from Lemon Craft's Fresh Summer stack caught my eyes. The flower die is from Spellbinder an the border is from a stash that I received as gift. The lovely green enamel dots and rhinestones added the finishing touch.
Special Celebrations
I follow a lovely lady in Ohio and she tried her hand on something different lately. This inspired me to try something different too. CAS is totally not my style. I do suffer with a lot of open spaces. I have a lot of bits and pieces of dies that I have not used. A lot of them in black and white too, but in the end I only used the label with the white sentiment done in glitter paper. I have a few 50 Birthdays coming up this year and this lead to using a stamp from Fiskar that is like from ages in my stash. It took me much longer to make up my mind than to make the card in the end. But that is probably why it is called CAS.
Hope you have one fine day!

A new challenge at Creative Moments
Good day
On the 7th of a month it is the start of a new challenge at Creative Moments. We are sponsored by Cute as a Button. We had 2 images to play with. Mine is Joshua Aviator. I took my inspiration from the inspirational photo, not as much the space theme, though my airplane is a bit lower than space. The colours and dots made me think of this piece of paper in my stash. So I used dies and colours to enhanced my inspiration. By luck there is even a number on the image, though it is a seven. The sentiment is stamped and is in Afrikaans for happy birthday.

Catch the Bug Anything Goes
Good day
I'm always super excited when there is a new challenge at Catch the Bug. And the first Saturday of this month it is a fun Anything goes. Since I have a few 18th birthdays on its way I thought I'll start making cards for these occasions. I used Guy with Car Key. Since at 18 we can obtain a driver's licence and for a young man that means FREEDOM. I used paper from my stash. The first time I have used the Purple Magnolia Circle border. Twine is from my recycled bin and I added a key charm as final touch.

18 on a bike
Good day
A friend of ours' son is turning 18 tomorrow. So I quickly made him a card with some die cuts. The bike is from hobby solutions. The oval is a faux stitch die from Crea-Lies. I used the other ends of my Christmas tree this time for the corner swirls. The 18 is done in a navy blue, though on the photo it looks black.
