Beach party time

Good day

Another post. Catching up on my crafting. This is a Bugaboo stamp. It is always a bit difficult to make a male card. So, I grasp the opportunity with summer in the northern hemisphere to make this birthday card. I've used Tim Hotlz distress emboss powder for the sand effect. The papers and eyelets are from my stash.

Challenges I'm joining:
Stella says Sketch #113 - Sketch
Robyn Fetish #113 - No flowers at all
Anything goes Challenge #70 - Polka dot with birthday theme
Twisted Tuesday Challenge #2TC12 - Red hot summer

Thank you for your visit.

A bit of feminine touch

Good day

When I saw the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays CFC58 - something pink, I got a bit excited. I bought this ribbon some time ago. Just could not resist. Then it was on how to put it together. Then came CF84FN's challenge, CR84FN57, bright pink, tan & neutral and I've popped in A Gem of a Challenge #49's request for Buttons, Bows, Bling and Butterflies. I wanted to try the acrylic distress technique when the JUGS did it, but just did not had time then, so this was my chance now.

Thank you for your visit.

Outlawz Fun Time

Good Day

First of all thank you to all my new followers. I hope I'll be an inspirations to you.

It is party time at the Outlawz. We are celebrating 2000 members with the theme: Where in the world are you! The are lots of games, challenges, blog hops and lot of prizes by all the well known artists! So please come and join. You just sign up for free and join the fun. As I said before there are something for everybody and everyday there are a new challenge.

It is Tuesday, another time for a colour challenge. Unfortunately, it is my last as guest designer. I had such fun with these very talented ladies. I do admire them and I am very grateful for their invitation. They certainly boosted my self-confidence.

This is the The Outlawz colour combo for this week and the twist of adding brads! CC260612

My interpretation: I used my favourite technique: 3D decoupage

A side photo of all the layers.

The sketch I've used.

At first I struggled a bit for an idea, then I went through my 3D collection and I found this Morehead limited edition picture and it had all the colours I needed, then I build it and again I struggled on how I want to put it together. Playing a bit on Feline Playful I've found the sketch and things started falling in place. I've used a Nellie Snellin circle die and the organza ribbon is thread through a Marianne's design diecut. The punch is from Martha Steward. The small water can and spade is also brads, that I found in a haberdashery shop. The orange is vellum and I used a Cuttlebug emboss border and the designer paper is from my scrapbook paper collection.

Some other challenges I'm joining:
A die for a sketch challenge #1 - Sketch
Pretty Little Ribbon Shop #11 - Lots of layers
Divas by design #40 - To die for
Allsorts challenge #160 - Any die will do
Tammy's scrappin Corner #16 - Anything goes

Butterfly girl - Outlawz Colour Challenge 19 June

My interpretation of the colour combo as guest designer:

Close-up of the glitter

The Oulawz Colour Challenge June 19 with the twist of something with wings

Good Morning

This is a scheduled post, so hope everything works out well.
It is the third week of June and it is Tuesday, what means it is time for another colour challenge over at the Outlaws. This week we have a fun colour combo with pink, touch of purple and black with the twist of something with wings. I have to admit this flamingo just do it for me this week, it gives you the feeling of life in abundance.
My interpretation of this colour combo, as guest designer.
This digi is from a very talented artist Jen Leeflang and you can find it a Digistamp4joy. I've added a bit of glitter on the girl's hair, then I've used the punched butterflies from the diecut and paste it all over the card. On the ribbon I used some metal embroidery thread to hang the butterfly charms with and I used brads to keep it to the card. Card stock is from my stash.

Challenges I'm joining:
There she goes clear stamp #TSG161 - Winged things
Robyn Fetish #112 - Anything Goes
The squirrel and fox #20 - Make it sparkle
Tammy's Scrappin Corner #15 - Ribbons/Bows

I've coloured the images with aquarelles. The designer paper is from NitWit collection called Cookin' Cookies. Celebrate!

Good Day

I want to invite you to look on the side bar of this blog for some interesting blog candy of fellow bloggers. One of which is a very talented artist that makes the cutest digis and the other have some very nice sentiment to share. Please pop over and give them some blessings, they will appreciate it very much and spread the news, since everybody loves something for free.

Now for my third post of the day. Visibly, I had some time for myself today, to finish some of my projects.

The last week there were a few challenges with the theme of celebrations, but it is the sketch over at the Outlawz that actually ignited this card. This is a Fiskar stamp from the new year collection. I tried to make the bottle and cork look real with some clear embossing and by adding a second layer. The lace is from my stash.

Challenges I'm joining:
The Outlawz Wednesday sketch challenge SC060612 - sketch
Cupcake Craft Challenge #196 - Red, white & blue
Craft Punked week 23 - Celebrations

Sparkling Dust

Project
 Colour Combo

Close-up on image done with heat embossing

Good day

CAS is out of my comfort zone, though I like a simple style without a lot of embellishments, but I do prefer more layers. This time though I thought I'll just give it a try. The sentiment is from Digistamp4Joy and I printed it in grey on the card stock. I've used Inkadinkado clear stamps called Circles and dots for my flourish and added some clear emboss powder.

Challenges I'm joining:
Less is more week 71 - One layer card with florish
CAS-ual Fridays #cfc56 - Sweet spots
CR84FN #56 - Yellow, Gray & neutral

Thank you for your visit!

The Outlawz 12 June Colour challenge

A close up of the leave printed white paper

Good Morning

First of all, I want to thank all the new faces that joined us last week. We are always excited for new faces with new styles and ideas, so please come and join us, as I have said before there are different challenges daily to suite everybody's style and you can even go further and join all of them.

A bit late, but I would like to share my project that I made for the Outlawz June 12 colour challenge. this time a condolences card, which I tend not to have much of. I've found the printed acetate with all the colours included, so I used a leave printed white in the back to highlight the images on the acetate. The label is a spellbinder diecut and the flowers are from a Cuttlebug diecut.

A few challenges I'm joining:
Craft your Passion #14 - Anything goes
Lollipop Craft Challenge #83 - Flowers in bloom

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Best 4x4 Dad by far

Sketch from Tuesday Morning sketches

Good day

I've started this card a bit in the middle. I saw the challenge at Craft your passion for chevrons and I really do not have any chevron papers in my stack. With my usual stop, out of curiosity, at a craft shop I found this paper that is called Outdoor tracks from Scrapsheet. Immediately it triggered my creativity. I'm married to a husband that loves the outdoors, to do some 4x4 routes is his escape to sanity. Unfortunately I do not have a 4x4 image, but I have found this Pick-up image from Beyond the Fringed. Carmen draw some very interesting digis from time to time. A bit out of the normal images. Then I saw the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches, which I'm entering the first time, and thought this will make the recipe for the card. I've just turned it a bit. Found a sticker for the 4x4 and used some clear heat embossing on the sides and on the lights, to make it stand out. Coloured the windows with a silver and added some grey brads on the wheels. Then I distressed it with chestnut brown to give it a bit of muddy look. The corner ric rac brads was in blue and then I've just sprayed it with some bronze paint, to fit the colour scheme. The twine I've digged out of my stash.

Challenges I'm joining:
Tuesday Morning Sketches #149 - Sketch
Craft Your Passion # 113 - Chevron
Divas by Design #38 - Chocolate
Dutch Dare Challenge #168 - For Dad
Charisma Cardz #22 - Travel
Cards for Men #12 - For Dad
Truly Madly Crafty June Challenge - Monochromatic

Thank you and have a pleasant day!

Have more fun

 Sketch of Mojo Monday

Colour combo of Get Hippity with Ippity

My project done with girl of Digi Darla's

Good Day

With all the balls, I'm juggling lately, it seems they are getting less for the moment. Hopefully it will give me more time for crafting. With this colour combo my crafting fingers started to itch, though I did not add the twist of anniversary/wedding, though I've tried for a more neutral theme. Such lovely bright, bold colours. Designer paper is from Do Crafts, I've used a cuttlebug emboss folder for the embossing. The punch is from Martha Steward and the sentiment from Facebook: "If I did half the stuff the rumours say about me, I think I might have more fun".

Challenges I'm joining:
Mojo Monday #244 - Sketch
Get Hippity with Ippity #22 - Colour combo
 Digi Darla's #14 - Bingo - Ribbons, Gems & embossing

June 5's colour combo: Slate Blue, Crisp White, Maroon with the twist, add something geometric.

 My Project:

A close-up on the belly dancer and the bling and doodling.

This digi is from the very talented Jen Leeflang and is called Belly Dancer. You can buy it from Digistamp4Joy. The maroon paper is from my stash and I used a Coluzzle cutting template for my honeycomb shapes. I did some reverse embossing on the blue shapes. I think I wanted to create almost a Moroccan feeling with the shapes and reverse embossing. I used a gold gel pen for the doodling and added some peel-offs in the corners and then rhinestones in blue and white with a bit of red glitter on the lady's body.
Challenges I'm joining:
Great Impressions #4 - Diecuts and/or punches
Delicious Doodles #20 - Diamonds are forever
Catch the Bug 2/6 - Bugaboo's June Anything Goes
