Pearls in my hair
Good day
I had my Friday so differently planned than what actually happened. Since both my boys were on a Land Service Camp I thought I'll use the time catching up on crafting. There are a few challenges that I really would love to join. Then I got this phone call at 7 o'clock the morning: Please come and fetch your boy, he is in severe pain. So I went to fetch him, at the doctor we were informed it is beleived that it is his appendix. So we went to the surgeon. Scan shows nothing, so we had to wait until Saturday morning for blood test. It then showed he has infection and the had to operate to take out his appendix. He was released this morning. At least everything went smoothly and he only needs to recover now.
In this project I used an image from A Day for Daisies called Pearls in my Hair, that I picked to play with when I heard the sad news of Tammy closed her shop, and I just had to play along in the 10th anniversary of Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Paper is from Bo Bunny's Dreams of Autumn collection. The leave and ribbon was from my stash.
Challenges I want to join:
A Gem of a Challenge Wk12 - Anything goes
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 - Anniversary
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Three "B"s
The Outlawz Festive Friday 14-27 June - Birthdays
Monday Greetings 10-23 June - Wings
The Outlawz Colour Challenge 18 June - 2 July
Thank you and hope you have a bit more time for crafting.

Oh, Olga isn't it funny when you plan something ahead and look forward to it, it never works out for some reason it's happened to me so many times. So glad your son is on the mend, my son had his appendix out when he was eight. It's such a quick operation now days being Keyhole surgery. So different to my day as I have a large scare to show for it. I love your card this is one of my very favourite A Day For Daisies images. Great card and lovely colours and embellishments. Thanks so much for taking the time out of your very busy weekend and joining us in our 10th anniversary and good luck.
