Autumn

Good Morning

We had our first Spring rain, though a few drops, but it had just washed all the dust from the leaves and the air is cleaner. My boy is busy with a Sevens rugby series, from there my late post.
It is time for a new challenge at Creative Moments. I received this cute birdie from one of our sponsors - Besties - to play with. Though our challenge is an Anything Goes we love to see some seasonal colours too. I have coloured the image with my Prisma pencils. Designer paper is from BoBunny's Dreams of Autumn collection. I used a Martha Stewart border punch with the leaves in 2 different card stock. The leaves are donr with Impression Obsession dies as with the sentiment I used a Spellbinder leave die and a Marianne Design Swirl.

Good day

Can't believe two weeks have past. In two month's time it is Christmas. Creative Moments are celebrating Halloween. Luckily there is always an anything goes option too, for those who does not celebrate Halloween like me. Lisa from Decosse Dynamite Doodles is one of our fabulous sponsors and I used some of her digital papers. First time I've tried an almost full digital project.

Celebrating Columbus day

Good day

We are exploring the world at Creative Moments. I was sponsored by Creative Bug with this image of a father and son that went fishing. With my travels I have met a few fishermen in my life and it is another world with all the recipes and gadgets. Luckily my husband is not a fisherman as such, though we did go on fishing trips.
I have used paper from World Travel Collection from BoBunny and some Spellbinder dies and Martha Steward punches.

Just a note at Creative Moments

Good day

Seasons are busy changing, here the winds have started to blow and that is a very good sign, spring is not that far away. With my image from My Stitch back in Twine I really had a feeling for spring especially when I saw the nice crisp colours at Just us Girls. I have played with bits and pieces in my stash and coloured the image with my prisma pencils. Hope you will pop by at Creative Moments for this fortnight with the option of music.

Creative Moments - No homework day

Good day

Can't believe it is two weeks past again. Than can mean only one thing. It is time for another challenge at Creative Moments and we have a fun challenge of no homework day, so anything you spend time on in leisure time. I love to read and so does my step daughter and she celebrates her birthday soon. I used Paper Nest Dolls - Back to School Ellie with sentiment from Desert Diva. The papers are from my stash and I used my Prisma colour pencil to colour the image.

Creative moments #136

Good day

Cannot believe two weeks are done and dusted again! We all know that it is time for another Creative Moments challenge! The 1st of February was World Compliment day and on the 10th it will be National Umbrella day, some very interesting themes. I used one of Lia Stampz images that is called "Make a wish baby elephant"

My boy and I played around with some options and I decided I'll incorporate both themes. I used my umbrella dies from Poppy stamps. The rain drops I added as well as the sentiment. Paper is from Kaiser Craft's Paradiso.

I used Sweet Sketch Wednesday's sketch by Katie.

New Beginnings with Creative Moment #134

It is always fun and good when new challenges cross your path and I am very proud and excited to announce that I am now part of the very talented Creative Moments team! Diana contacted me during my summer holidays in December and I thought I'll give it a go. Hope you will all come and join in this week with our theme of "New Beginnings" Every day is a new beginning and needs celebration!

Mine is a celebration with a sadness on one hand and excitement on the other hand. My hairdresser will move to Cape Town at the end of the month and I am really sad since she was my hairdresser for the longest time, 6 years. She will start a new life with new hubby in Cape Town and I am very glad for her and wish her well. From there my choice of image as well. It looks as if the ant is saying good bye. I try to create a window like image withe Tim Holtz paper sanded after I used Marianne Design brick emboss folder. The sentiment is from Cards und more.
