Good day

This is a quick post of another teenager card. Though 19 is a bit more difficult, but I find music is an universal theme for any age. I used a Bugaboo image - Johnny Sing. Further I used bits and piece from my stash and a Spellbinder music embossing folder. Image was coloured with Prisma Pencils.

Things with wings at Creative Moments

 Good day

Hope you had a blessed Easter weekend. We had our children home, so we had some family fun. 

Today I want to share a card I made for Creative Moments' Things with wings challenge that started the 15th of April. I had the sentiment from Mirtillamente - To Dream no1, to play with so I kept it kind of simple with a border die from Marianne Design. I just added an additional dragonfly in the lavender to give it a really spring feeling. The sentiment I printed in green and used some chalk in the background. The pink butterflies are part of the border set.

 Good day

I got this special request last week for a card with neon colours for a 17 year old girl. I had this image - My Music - from Sheepski design on my table for ages now and it fit a girl of 17. The paper is from my children when they were in the primary school and needed neon papers for a project. I decided to go with the orange and yellow for something different. I used a Nellie Snellen die for the background and some Afrikaans sentiment on the yellow with a 17. I fussy cut the image since the original die size did not fit on the card. Image was coloured with my Prisma pencils.

Belated April SSW2

Good day

There is some new sketches at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and the ladies did a wonderful job showcasing the sketches. There is also an optional twist of earth day (22 April).

For both my sketches I used Sheepski Design images. 

Balance Beam

I made this card for my friend's grandchild. She is currently doing gymnastics and love pink. I have coloured the image with my Prisma  pencils and used a memory box corner die in pearly paper with some ribbon and gems.

Peonies

 For my second card I made a birthday card with these lovely peonies from Andrea. I really wanted it to pop so I used the black and white paper from my stash with a red ribbon and an afrikaans sentiment.

Another boy card

Good day

I played along with a few challenges ending up with another boy card. I just love boys, elf/fairies and green, especially this vibrant yellow green, for me it is a symbol of growth. I used a Marianne's design star emboss folder on the back. Then I used some alcohol inks for the triangle. Coloured this mage, Candy Elf from Alicia Bel with Prisma pencils and fussy cut it and dropped the candy part and add a airplane die to go with my theme for a boy.
