Another 50th birthday is on the cards. This time I made a gift card holder in a form of handbag. I have this lovely paper from my scrapbook stash and it just fitted the theme. I used a Beccy's place tutorial for this. I used a little piece of Velcro to keep the piece together. Further added a Afrikaans sentiment die cut in front and a little bow embellishment.

Golden 50
Good day
It is not often that I have time to play on a Saturday, but I just had to finish this project. This is the year where we and some of our very good friends celebrate our 50th birthdays. This colour combo is so in a 50th birthday celebration range. I used paper from Young & Chic from Creative Path added some wet embossed birthday sentiment and played with some golden papers from my stash. Added 6 golden epoxy dots.

Talking to the moon
Good day
I was inspired by a few challenges with this project! I used Conversations from Sheepski design and it came to mind when one of the challenges asked to make a birthday card for 2 people celebrating their birthday on the same day but like mile apart. The paper just suited the colour challenge choice. I used some dies from my stash and a star ribbon to add the final touch. The moon's subtle colouring is just not visible on the photo and darker background. I have fussy cut the image, since I was not sure if I can replicate the background paper.
