Guest designer at Sweet Sketch Wednesday2

Good day

Life is a bit in the fast lane lately. This is a almost belated post. I was asked to be guest designer at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 for this fortnight. One of my favourite sketch blogs and they have Bugaboo as a sponsor, so how could I not resist to play along. I used BUG Beauty and coloured her with my prisma pencils. My designer paper is from L'aquarelle design from Ultimate Crafts. Final touch of brads and eyelets from my stash.

Dreams of summer

Good day

This is just one of those days where I came to hide from the world since I really do not know how I feel. Somehow I just feel sad without real reason for. At least I used the negative energy a bit more positive. I used this cute digi from Andrea from All Dressed Up and I have found this beautiful complimenting paper in my Sweet Romance bloc from Marianne's design. I've coloured the image with my Prisma pencils and added these flip flop buttons with some twine to end it all off.

Just a note at Creative Moments

Good day

Seasons are busy changing, here the winds have started to blow and that is a very good sign, spring is not that far away. With my image from My Stitch back in Twine I really had a feeling for spring especially when I saw the nice crisp colours at Just us Girls. I have played with bits and pieces in my stash and coloured the image with my prisma pencils. Hope you will pop by at Creative Moments for this fortnight with the option of music.

Kingfisher

Good day

I played around this week with another male card. This is a digi from Delicious Doodles call Kingfisher in the Rushes. I used some textured paper from The Pebbled stack and The Gauze Paper stack both from DCWV. Coloured the image with my Prisma pencils and added a Afrikaans Sentiment stamped from Magnolia stamps.

Life time traveller

Good day

Just a quick post before all the family arrive for the big celebrations. I played with a image from Delicious Doodles called in the harbour. One of my latest images with which I just had to play. It all started with my FIL big 80th this month and it came to me that he has been a life time traveler and somehow these boats resembles something of it. They probably have to with stands storms and sunshine, like we do on our life path. Al the papers are bits and pieces from my scrapbook stash. Image was coloured with Prisma pencils

When the cat is gone....

Good day

Well our August winds have started on time, so it is dust where ever you go. It is always a good sign since summer is on its way.
With the new month it is also time for a new challenge at Creative Moments. This time the theme is cats, not my favourite pet, though I know enough people that are cat people. At first I thought I'll rather play with the anything goes option, but browsing through my stash I have found these precut images that I still bought in France some 8 years ago. I think it was more the intention for my boys for school, then I started playing around with the idea with the cat. In the end I made a gate fold card with the image of the hamster from Creative Bug, my sponsor for this fortnight. Papers are from DCWV's Pet Stack.

Golden years

Good day

As mentioned we have a few birthdays in this month of which my father in law is turning 80. We will have a big family gathering celebrating this milestone. I used Gus from Bugaboo and my paper is from Bo Bunny World Traveler series.

Tulips

Good day

It is August and half of the in laws are celebrating their birthdays in this month. This one will go to my mother in law who celebrate her birthday today. We will only see her on Wednesday though.
I used a Bugaboo image and used some washi tape and bits of pieces scrap for the sentiment.
