First day of Spring #139 Creative Moments

Good day

It is time for another challenge over at Creative moments. Though it is always a anything goes challenge we also have a theme if you need a challenge and what better than First day of Spring!

Spring is associated with new life and growth but unfortunately we tend to forget about death that is part of the cycle. We received some sad news over the WE, so my spring project ended up in a sympathy card. My image is from Bugaboo called roses and butterflies. I really scratch through my bits and piece to put this project together with different dies to glue it together. Image coloured with Prisma pencils.

So French

Good day

Since I am on a roll, I'll just carry on using all my creativity, since I'm not always sure how long it will last.
Today I played with SI Belle Ink from The Paper Shelter. I used my Prisma pencils. Designer paper is from Graphic 45 - French Country stack. It suited this image so well.

There's a kind of hush

Good day

I took inspiration from Blogland's spring creations. I saw some lovely soft green projects lately that I just had to join in the fun, though I ended up using some blues too. My image is from A Day for Daisies called Pearls in my hair. I used papers from my stash. A Swiss dots emboss folder and Dies from Nellie Snellen and Memory box. For a final touch I added rhinestones in her hair.

Primrose

Good day

It has been quite a while playing with one of my favourite artist's designs - Aurora Wings. I follow her on Facebook and am quite inspired by all her creations and the designers colouring the images. It is amazing and I just love the detail. I used Primrose Sprite today. I had to Google to see how a real primrose flower looks like and the soft colours looked so delicate. Though mine did not ended up as delicate. The designer paper is from Paper Flowers from First Edition. Die is from Spellbinder A2 Locking Loops and the swirl is from Marianne's design. I used the thread to add the beads and butterfly.

Substitute for experience

As previous mentioned in one of my post this is the year for 16! So I played with Casual Girl from Bugaboo. The designer paper is from Scruffy Little Cat from Crafter's Companion. The rest is from my stash. I used my Prisma Colour pencil to colour the image.

#138 Creative moments - It's all about women

Good day

It feels so good to be on time with my fellow DT members over at Creative Moments. With my internet problems of the last two months it was quite frustrated not to be on time. This week we are celebrating international woman's day on the 8th of March. So we want to see project for women or with women on it. I image is Abigail Sunflower Fae from Scrap 'n Dipity one of our lovely sponsors this fortnight. I used some Perfect Pearl from Ranger on her wings and coloured her using my new Prisma colour pencils. Played with papers from my stash.

A wedding card

Good day

Well it has been a hectic week and still a lot to do for the weekend too. We are attending a wedding on Saturday and it will be my boys' first wedding. They are excited, hope they will enjoy it.
