Lilly Cinderella

Good day

I had some time playing with this new image from Moondrea, called Lilly Cinderella. Used my favourite technique of shabby chic. Colored the image with my prisma pencil and used some bits and pieces of my stash.

New experience

Good day

This is an image, from Alicia Bel, that traveled, I have coloured it about a year ago and it just never ended up finished. We have moved in the beginning of December 2023 and since then we were busy with renovations. 

Well today, was a good day, since it got fixed to a card. I played with bits and pieces of stash. Even the sentiment was printed a year ago. I used a cloud emboss folder under the airplane and on the edge next to sentiment.

 Good day

Today is the start of a brand new progressive challenge on Facebook in the Moondrea group. This beauty's name is Anemone Maiden. When I laid my eye on her, the flowers stood out for me and I just wanted to colour them in yellow. Later on I realized that anemones are normally in hues of pink and purple. With a few challenges with a summer theme I found these lovely paper stack in my stash and it just blended in with all the rest. I used a cut and emboss folder from hallmark with these lovely butterflies. Added some liquid pearl and a butterfly brad.

Still breathing

 Good day

With a few moves and renovations behind my back, I can hopefully return to crafting. 

We have a wedding upcoming weekend and it gave me an opportunity to dig trough my craft supplies. I used some recycled ribbon with some glitter and pearly papers. With a BoBunny frame and rectangular die, Country Crafts sentiment die and cuttlebug emboss folder.

I used Coffee Break from The Paper Shelter for this card and used paper from Lemon craft's Fresh Summer as a base and then added scraps. This is for a friend of mine who will start her prelims for her last school exam in a weeks time. (Our school year starts in January and ends in December) She hopes to be accepted in med school next year.

For my MIL

Good day

This is a bit of belated post, since I made this for my MIL who turned 81. The inspiration photo just suited her in the soft pinks and fragility of the butterflies and flowers. I used Just a Note image from All Dressed up and coloured it with Prisma pencils. Used some ink and embossing powder on the edge. With a final touch of pearls and ribbon.

Christmas in July tag

 Good day

I took some time to play with this lovely Candy elf from Alicia Bel. This time I played with some non traditional colours, since red, white and blue (ocean depth blue in this case) is not necessarily associated with Christmas. I used different dies  and coloured the image with Prisma pencils. Rediscovered my glitter and added some white on the hat and  some confetti stars. Then a tag needs some twine and I have found this raffia twine in red, white and blue.
