Christmas in July tag

 Good day

I took some time to play with this lovely Candy elf from Alicia Bel. This time I played with some non traditional colours, since red, white and blue (ocean depth blue in this case) is not necessarily associated with Christmas. I used different dies  and coloured the image with Prisma pencils. Rediscovered my glitter and added some white on the hat and  some confetti stars. Then a tag needs some twine and I have found this raffia twine in red, white and blue.

Guest designer at Penny's Paper-crafty

 Good day

We are currently experiencing a love mild winter's day here in the north of Southern Africa! Though I do appreciate it. We even went camping last weekend with my boys. They have a winter break currently.

Well I have accepted the invitation to be a guest designer for Penny's Paper-Crafty and I used one of the sponsors' image. It is called Popsicle from All Dressed Up. I have these lovely popsicle papers in my stash and I added some plain paper with it to give it a bit of ocean feeling since this lovely lady looks as if she is on her way to the beach with her carry bag with a magazine, towel and spade. I just love designer paper and to combine it with plain is the best combo for me. As final touch I added some rhinestones.
