Good day!
It has been almost 4 months since my last post. We finally have moved, though we are still pending between the houses, but at least I have my craft room in my new home, unpacked and ready to play. Discovered some old stuff and got rid of stuff that I have not used since I bought it ages ago.
With the new sketches at
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 it is time to unpack your creativity. We have some fabulous examples from the DT. We have twist too of autumn, thanksgiving and Halloween, is you want to play with something extra.
I played mainly with the autumn colours, since we do not celebrate Halloween in South Africa and we are at the start of a lovely spring!
For the first sketch I used an image from Pattie's creation and it was coloured sometime ago with my Prismacolor pencils and I added some accent gloss on the vase to look like water. I used papers from my stash with an embossing folder called "Turkish Delight" from Couture Creations for the leaves.

This was also an image, from Bugaboo, that I have printed ages ago and quickly coloured it up. I took the inspiration from the dotted paper in the background for the colours. I always need boy cards, some how.

In the process of moving I had a day with my husband in Johannesburg. While he had his meetings I took some time of and spend it in one of my favourite craft shops. There I bought some sentiment stamps. Something I haven't done in ages. So for this project I used one of my new dies and stamps. I used some heat embossing with some glitter on the sentiment. I added a dragonfly and fairy die cut. These lovely papers from my stash remind me of the last roses and warm colours of summer / beginning fall. I used the bottom part of a heart die to great the triangle and for the second triangle - left in the corner - I used the rose corner die and fairy.

Thank you and hope you enjoy whatever season you are experiencing!
Hugs from Africa!
