Swiss tangled by Jean Chaney

Good day

Can't believe it is the last day of August!!! Tomorrow is spring day in South Africa, though there are already a few signs that spring is in the air with all the fruit trees that are blooming, even the temperature has risen. Really looking forward to summer.

This is The Outlawz progressive challenge image from Jean Chaney and is called Swiss Tangled. I used bits and pieces from my stash. I used a Fleur de Lis Square die from Spellbinder and Sea Breeze from Couture creation dies for the shells. Finished it of with some peel off borders.

Up, up and away

Good day

I've been a bit under the weather lately with the change of season in the air. Yesterday I started to feel as if I am winning.
This is a image from DigiStamp4Joy and is this month's digi at the progressive challenge. The paper is from First Edition's Man Made series. The orange ended up to be a burnt orange and not a red orange, but I just could not find the exact colour. Lace is from a box I received about a year ago and I added some metal corners to finish it off.

Good day

Can't believe another week is done and dusted. Here there are already signs of summer and most definitely the wind has started to blow.
Today I played with a very interesting sketch from Tuesday Morning sketches. I took the quote from my Inspiration Station book and in a sense it is a very inspiring quote for all kind of events.
Papers are from J'Adore from First Edition. I used a Marianne Design die and some flowers and a heart shell charm to finish it of.

Good day

After a weekend of  birthday celebrations I finally have time to share this thank you card I made. I bit out of my comfort zone, but in the end I 'm satisfied with the product. Played with all my old stash like handmade paper and a dried leave.
