Summer Birthday

 


Good day

We had some lovely rain lately and the Bush-veld is in all its splendor of spring. It sure looks good!

With all the green around me I took some inspiration for my project today. This is Summer from Moondrea. I used Prisma pencils to colour her. With designer paper from Botanic Vintage from Nellie's Choice I used a Crealies CLNestXXL 35 die and a Spellbinder oval scallop die for the image. Spellbinder shapeabilities - on the edge - for the center pink. As always I need to add some ribbon, as it is my favourite embellishments, on the background. Ribbon is so versatile, since you can add it as a line or make bow just to add some focal point or just to add it so subtle to complete all the required elements of the project, like in this one. I found the paper so lovely that I did want to hide it. My sentiment is in Afrikaans and is a Happy Birthday sentiment from The Purple Magnolia.
